Welcome to Byre Vets Website
Byre Vets - the Peterborough Vets helping pet owners to care for their animals since 1990.
Byre Vets was established by Bob Gillespie in 1990 in a small industrial unit in Werrington. In 2003 the practice moved to a large, purpose built modern surgery in Papyrus Road where our staff have the use of excellent equipment and facilities, including digital xray and ultrasound. Byre vets has grown to become one of Peterborough’s leading independent vets.
We aim to give each client a friendly, first class, personal service. We think continuity of care with the same vet for ongoing conditions is important, if your pet were to develop a long term condition we will try and make sure this happens whenever we can.
Traditional values are important to us and we are delighted that we now see the pets belonging to the children and grandchildren of our earliest clients! Everyone is welcome at the Byre - new clients and old will all get the same friendly treatment. Have a look on the website to meet the staff and visit our facebook page to see what our clients are saying about us.
We would like every visit to the Byre to be a positive experience for you and your pet with a quality, but value for money service. We aren't part of any large veterinary group and sorry but we don't do gimmicks!
If you are looking for a friendly, local vet you can trust - why not give us a call?
This is Mr Hedges from Werrington Neighbourhood Council presenting Bob Gillespie with a Community Contribution Award in recognition of our service to the animal community and for our fundraising achievement.
